Here's a glimpse at what a typical day Retreat looks like...

9:30 - 9:50 Registration & Welcome Drinks

Please arrive in good time and use the time to meet your fellow 'Sisters'. You will also be issued with your Yoga mat, and your name badge and have plenty of time to enjoy a choice of Herbal Teas or a Caffeine-Free Coffee or some Mineral Water. 

10:00 - 11:15 Yoga Session

Your professional Yoga Instructor understands the complexity of our more mature bodies and the programme is specifically tailored for both PeriMenopausal and Menopausal women alike. Do not worry if you are a 'first timer' as you will be well looked after, and equally, if you're more advanced the Instructor will work with you. If you have your own mat, please feel free to bring it with you.

11:15 - 11:30 Break

Time for a visit to the 'Comfort Station' and also to rehydrate. Break time is always another opportunity for doing what we love best... natter! Your Yoga Instructor will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have, as will your Retreat 'Host' for the day.

11:30 - 13.00 Nutrition Session

Your Menopause-Trained Specialist will give you an insightful look into Diet & Nutrition, highlighting the foods and drinks that can impact negatively on our Menopause symptoms. What we are lacking in our diet will also be covered, as will the Myths & Truths about Supplements.

13:00 - 14:00 Delicious Lunch Break

Typically, your Nutritional Specialist will join you for a healthy but yummy lunch menu produced by our very own Menopause Chef. You certainly won't go hungry and will quickly see how easy it to improve your diet. We don't preach or judge, we just deliver amazing ideas and serve up some very tasty, exciting cuisine using fresh ingredients.

14:00 - 15:00 Specialist Nurse Session

Meet the Menopause-Trained Nurse, who will talk you through what is happening to our bodies physically during Menopause. There is so much to learn and so much many of us simply didn't know or understand. Why it happens, and what medical options might help. She will also talk about the pros and cons of HRT.

15:00 - 15:30 Q&As with the Nurse

This gives you time to chat through any concerns you have about your own Menopause, and medical issues, or just ask whatever you like - if the nurse can help, she definitely will. We know from experience, this is one of the most popular sessions of the day and 90 minutes is barely long enough.

15:30 - 16:00 Wine & Chocolate Tasting

Some would argue that this will be their favourite time of the day, but we assure you the best is left for last. This is however a very welcome opportunity to sample some delicious Alcohol-Free Bubbly (we love it!!) and some of the nicest, yet healthiest chocolate you will have ever eaten!

16:00 - 17:30 Psychotherapist Session

This might sound daunting or even a little scary, but for most guests this is the most talked about & popular session of the day. What you will learn can help greatly with easing your Anxiety, Depression, Brain Fog, Sleep Disorders and even Sex Drive. Symptom management techniques will help you discover and maintain your new psychological strengths long after you leave.
